2024 Harvest Wrap Up

It takes a village to make small-batch, hand crafted wine.

We’re finally wrapping up our 2024 harvest. This year, we processed 11 tons of fruit! In the photo above, you can see our new red wines in barrel, finishing up secondary (or Malolactic) fermentation. This is the process by which tart malic acid coverts to softer lactic acid, greatly improving the taste of the new wine. When this process is complete, we can safely move the barrels into the cold room, where they will hang out for a couple of years. You have to be so patient to be a winemaker!

We’re so thankful to the people who helped us process fruit throughout the season! From family to friends, your hard work helped us get through the long days!
