Wine Club Membership Terms & Conditions

To help you make the most of your Spruce Hill Wine Club membership, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our policies.

There is no fee to join our club, and you may sign up anytime online, by phone, or by visiting the tasting room. Wine Club benefits become active after your first wine club release is purchased or once a minimum of two bottles are purchased. As a member, you agree to all terms and conditions of membership outlined below.

By becoming a member, you verify that you are at least 21 years of age. You authorize us to charge your credit card on file twice per year (Spring and Fall) for a minimum of two club shipments.

Will I be notified before a club release?

You will receive an email at least two weeks prior to each club release, noting important dates and details about the wines we’re releasing.

At any time before the release date, you can change the wines in your order. The only requirement is that the number of bottles in the order matches the number of bottles in your membership level.

This is also a good time to verify that your credit card details and billing/shipping address are current.

How do I pay for my wine?

A club release will be charged to your credit card on file on the release date. If you’d prefer to use a different credit card, please update your card information online or by phone before the release date.

We are not responsible for shipping charges incurred due to misdirected or returned shipments. If a club shipment is returned due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the additional cost of reshipping or a $25 restocking fee. After one delivery attempt to a correct address, UPS will deliver your wine to a nearby access point.

Club purchases, tax, and shipping are non-refundable once processed. Shipping costs may change without notice.

What if I change my mind and want different wines after the release?

After the release date, we can facilitate an exchange of wines when you pick them up. We will either charge or refund the difference in cost to your credit card on file.

How much will my wine club order cost?

Our wines range in price per bottle, so the price per release will vary based on the number of bottles in your club level, the discount applied, and what we’re releasing. You are in control of the wines in your release and can modify the order to include any of our current releases. To see the current pricing, please review our Current Releases page.

How will I receive my wine?

Picked-up orders - When you sign up for the wine club, you can elect to pick up your wine any time after the release date at one of our tasting rooms during normal tasting room hours.

Shipped orders - You may also request to have your wine shipped to you. (Shipping costs apply. See the Shipping and Returns Policy page for more information about shipping your wines.)

Due to federal law requiring all alcohol shipments to be signed for by a person at least 21 years of age, a daytime delivery address, preferably a business address, is requested. Shipments are handled by UPS and cannot be delivered to PO, FPO, APO, or IPO boxes. Returned or refused shipments will incur additional fees.

What happens if I can’t pick up my wine right away?

While we prefer that you pick up your wine soon after release or have it shipped to you, we will hold it for you for up to 3 months.

After we send you a last-call reminder, we will return the wine to our inventory. At that point, we can’t guarantee that those specific wines will be available when you pick up your order. If that happens, you may substitute other wines for your release, and we’ll adjust the price accordingly.

I need a break. Can I pause my wine club membership?

You may skip a release once per calendar year. To do so, sign in to your member account, select the Club Memberships tab, and select the Skip Shipment link.

Skipping two consecutive wine club releases results in the cancellation of your club membership and benefits.

How do I cancel my wine club membership?

To cancel your wine club membership, sign in to your member account, select the Club Memberships tab, and select the Cancel Membership link.
